    Cinema Card

    are people aware of the cinema cards that are available for the visually impaired to have person accompany them free of charge.

    No, but I do not go as I hate the pictures. Costs too much, is to noisy, & the films are rubbish. It is nice they can do this though.

    You don't need to be visually impaired.

    You need to either be registered blind or in receipt of DLA or Carer's Allowance.

    Is this widely known? I mean, do disabled people know, do cinemas have notices, information, etc, on this?

    Yes I know of this, but I don't think it's widely known it should be advertised more

    I agree. Even though I do not see myself going to the cinema again, many others do. It could save them a fortune.
