When you ring the DWP mention the words duty of care, I found it works wonders.
No it doesn't so don't worry.
I would suspect that birdgirl is well and truly in the doodah because the title of her post states she has :-
"Accidentally given DWP too much info about a bank account I have. What do I do?...
You need to reread the letter you were sent with payment details when you went onto the benefits as it states quite clearly on there what the limits are.
Unfortunately as you have made the mistake...
It's a good thing as you can not be found fit for work without a f2f. :)
Many places are replacing the pay point service with another service. My local post office has done this so I had to make a 20 mile round trip to top up my key meter and use the coupons from the warm...
Ah no it was for ESA, I didn't have a problem with PIP ATOS just rang my MS nurse who advised a home visit which is what I had.
Duty of care still applies though so ring the DWP and explain what is...
I rang the DWP and complained about Maximus and their insistence on a f2f at a assessment centre. The words I used were " I was owed a duty of care". I pointed out I had no objection to a home...
As DLA is being paid, there is no back dating of PIP as I understand it. I'm in the same situation as your Mum. I had final DLA payment on Tuesday and wont get PIP until beginning of December. Yet...
Ah ok, there are brownie points for not being able to get in or out of a bath
Would the assessor be trying to work out if you are in danger of choking or spilling food down yourself?
I had a home assessment, a lovely young lady arrived explained what she was there for who she was and then at a leisurely pace went through the PIP form. I was also asked if I would be kind enough to...
There's been quite a few people who have not had their ESA paid like you. It's a computer hitch so just ring them up and ask them to look into it for you. They will sort it then and there for you.
Had the result over the phone today exactly as the assessor had recommended, Enhanced and standard for mobility. It took 7 week from the assessor sending the paperwork to the DWP.
I've not received...
I had a phone call from ESA this morning to tell me my PIP result and thus entitled the SDP payment. So a couple of basic questions asked and then told the money would be added to my claim when...
Perhaps give the case manager a ring and query the daily living explaining why you are doing so. This is sometimes all that is needed.
Just to let everyone know I sat down with MY GP and filled in the form with exactly the same info supplied already and low nd behold I am staying in the support group. :D
Hello Sam,
you need a total of 15 points. Hope that helps you.
If it states they have all the info required then a paper based assessment is being done so no f2f :)
I was left alone for over 7 years before new forms sent out. The fun at the moment is on going and Maximus are just as anal now as they were 7 years ago.
I seem to remember something and I'm not sure what it was so you need to check it out. I have a vague recollection that if you have land then you are deducted the amount of agricultural rent from...
Sorry that was my bad, I rang and asked for a copy of the assessment the day the text came to say they had the report. It arrived within two days, after adding up the points badly I made 12 but...
I rang for the report and have been given 14 points for daily living and 8 for mobility so now have to wait for the case manager to agree or disagree. :) Only another 5 weeks to wait.
I had a text on 27 June to say they had received the application, I had a home assessment on the 23rd of August and the 28th of August a text to say DWP had the report and I would hear within 6...
