Yeah my wife got 25/12 both times when me and her did it seperately for her.
Assessment this morning so we shall see I suppose.
It should be backdated to the award date, (the date they stopped your PIP) so i’d assume 24th April :)
It will have the scores, but not always the same ones the assessor put in, for her report you need to ask for it, they won’t automatically send it out.
Thanks, I’ll have a read through it today :)
I don’t like the term ‘choose’, whilst it is essentially a choice, it’s a choice between:
going out and risking huge panic attacks, feelings of unworthiness and daily and paranoia.
Not going...
And also.....
Does not vs cannot?
For example, my wife DOES NOT leave the house on the majority of days, however she does not attempt to.
However on the majority of ATTEMPTS to leave the...
Does anyone have a link to somewhere where it states what happens if a claimant meets multiple descriptors, each for less than 50% of days but altogether for more than?
I’m not missing the point at all, they cannot possibly have statistics for those who didn’t complain, I’m sorry for what you went through with them, however they can’t know that you weren’t happy...
What about them? They can’t have the data for those that don’t complain... it’s not possible.
Well done!
Have you got a copy of the assessors report ?
It’s very strange to be downgraded against what the assessor has said, have they said why they didn’t agree, and what they then based...
Unfortunately I disagree, if that was the case then where would the support be for those who couldn’t travel due to mental health?
Not really, I mean I see where she’s coming from.
If her housing benefit was supposed to cover the full amount, and it hasn’t due to a fault not of her own, but she has been paying it then...
You could probably argue that, up to the exact amount that YOU have paid, I don’t know how however.
Or you could let bygones be bygones and leave it there in case the time comes when you find you...
I second what Teri said.
Fingers crossed it doesn’t end up that way but sounds like that’s what’s going to happen. Atleast you can prepare now :)
I was referring to d and f, couldn’t remember the exact wording though, thanks :)
It is, very needlessly extremely complicated, especially as we’re talking about extremely vulnerable people.
This is the DWP. I don’t think they know what degenerative means.
I’ve even read a report of a guy who had no legs being told he could one day be able to walk unaided again...
Mostly true, however here would be some exceptions:
Unable to make any journey : 35% of the time
Prompting/ support for familiar : 30% of the time
Prompting / support for unfamiliar : 35%...
It’s not set in law. They just know that they can’t declare you fit for work without a face to face.
ESA is an ongoing benefit, though 8 years is a long time to not be reassessed! Try not to worry about it, there is almost nothing you can do to know when.
It may help to try and keep up to date...
Only if they have an active forum moderator on I believe.
I doubt it’s about being bored. If I’m thinking cynically enough I’d blame the tories.
Which again, I don’t think they’re supposed to do. I’m pretty sure it’s supposed to be done right there and then.
I don’t know if it’s in the regulations, however it is in their contract with the DWP to do it I believe. The same can be said for seating arrangements, though I’m going to be moving our 2 seater...
I would contact my MP bekki, and also raise a storm on Twitter or something? Contact DPaC (disabled people against cuts) and inform them this is happening, they will probably investigate as that is...
They are going to look at ALL claims, I know it’s hard, but this is a huge task so we’re all going to have to give them some time :)
