I've recently joined the new craze in growing Algae/Phytoplankton in unused soda bottles. It can be turned into a lot of useful things such as bio-diesel, animal feed and fertilizer.

I began this because I was looking for a alternative way to feed my pet Fishes instead of relying on Duckweed which needs huge surfaces areas to grow or food waste conversion systems which produce fly larvae and worms.

I'm hoping sooner or a later to take a University course in Renewables & Green technology and I think this will make a good contribution.

Is anyone else doing anything similar?
