    Problem with googleads

Don't know if everyone else is seeing this today.

The new advertising links to googleads which seems to be down today.

So every time I change a page an ad tries to load but can't, so I get a network connection error.

Annoying but you can just dismiss the error and carry on.

I do have an adblocker on the laptop I'll see if that helps when I get home.
I don't know everything. - But I'm good at searching for, and finding, stuff.

Cheers jard, that's what I thought.

    I run AdBlock on FFx.
I've used AdBlockPlus in the past but had problems with it. ( They are different blockers from different companies).

But I don't have any on the phone so get this annoying error message all the time as it tries to load the advertising.

    EDIT.
It's not just here, other websites are doing the same.
It looks like a global problem with googleads if you don't have an adblocker.

Seems to have been sorted now.

Ads are displaying again on the phone, no error messages.

Guess it was a temporary thing at googleads.

    It's a while since i tried ABP.

I found it did the job at blocking ADs but slowed down pages and websites that didn't have ADs.
It also gave some strange, erratic, behaviour on vBulletin and Xenforo based forums.

One interesting thing I have found since starting to use a blocker again; certain websites just show as totally blank if the blocker is running.
Our council/social housing website search results is one, no adverts at all but you can't see details of the properties on offer until you pause the blocker.
I guess the blocker sees the displays as advertising.
