Anyone offer advice on PIP with Capita?

Got a letter from Capita today saying they have my case notes from DWP and will assess as to whether I need a f2f. They have a recent letter from my previous doctor requesting I have a home visit if a f2f is required.

I have no experience of Capita only the old Atos. Any advice, tips or warnings about them would be appreciated.

The statistics show that Capita do make a lot more home assessments than Atos.
I don't know everything. - But I'm good at searching for, and finding, stuff.

I've had two assessments by Capita. Had a face to face both times and both were home visits. The first assessor was apparently very nice, friendly and kind, but her report was full of inaccuracies and I had to go to MR to get the right award. The second one was very businesslike and seemed quite "hard", yet she scored me a lot higher (and more accurately) and I got enhanced for both components that time around. So it just seems to depend on who you get on the day

Thank you all for your replies. I guess it's going to be weeks before I get an appointment.

My last Atos f2f was recorded yet completely full of inaccuracies. One bit said "She drives an automatic car. Her car isn't adapted and she can use the gears. When she is in a great deal of pain she doesn't drive. Her car is a manual gearbox", yet no-one even noticed this glaring contradiction lol.

Any one have any idea how many weeks I will need to wait for a decision or most likely, f2f appointment?

I had a real dragon of a Capita HCP first time & went to the tribunal & won. Second assessment was paper based & her report was very accurate & honest.

I am sure there are some very genuine people who try to make a difference, likewise I guess there are those with a loaded agenda!

Phoned Capita today. apparently I will be getting a f2f at home. They couldn't say when though. At least I know but I can't help feeling panicky.
