Yeah, the last time they disqualified me it was a week before Christmas.
Mind you, i suppose i should count myself lucky, they haven't had me in for a medical for 5 or 6 years now. I guess i musta passed that with flying colours. Come to think of it, back then i wrote to the DWP asking for a copy of the medical report, i feared i might need it in the future, but i never received it. I must get writing...
That last medical, i was around 45 minutes in when i realised that it was not being recorded, as i had requested. I asked the HCP if she wanted to see some of my abscesses and wounds but she said no. I had a flare up at that time with an abscess at my tail-bone, just at the side of a pilonidal sinus wound. I stood up and turned away before dropping my drawers just low enough for her to see. She didn't leave her seat for a closer inspection. As i went to sit back down i misjudged the distance to the chair and landed my cleft on the arm... OUCH!!!

They are working weekends to help clear backlogs.

As for the letter not arriving, Christmas mail delays from the post office?

At least you got a text, if you hadn't got that you might have been looking at a 'Failure to Attend' battle.

Yeah, there is that, but i'm worried that i'm missing something that would have been in a letter.
Just thinking a little more (i haven't thought of much else since receiving the text), i had asked on my form for a home visit this time around, right now the journey to the medical centre is simply beyond me. The appointment is at the medical centre, can i insist on a home visit?

You can try, but you will need a doctors letter to back it up.

You may have already sent one with your ESA50, but it will not have been read.

If you read the notes on the ESA50 they want you to wait until they send you an appointment BEFORE you ask for a home assessment.

Yes, it seems stupid but that's what it says on the ESA50.

A liquid spillage meant the notes which came with the form was only fit for the bin

I've just double checked and it's on page 19 of the ESA50 (05/18) itself.

Sorry can't link properly from this phone but you can download one from the link in the 'standard forms'sticky in this sub-forum.
