Thread: PIP Issues

    PIP Date Issues

This is my 4th successful PIP claim. After the arduous and stressful endeavour of even having them agree to a home assessment, (I've been without PIP since November 2018 due to this), I've been awarded the standard living and mobility rate by them as of 1st May 2019. On the letter, however, it states, I will be paid starting the 10th December 2019, is this an error or a change in their system because that is 7 months from now. Making it a total of 13 months without PIP. This whole process has been absolutely will-breaking and disheartening. I am happy I've won my claim but I am more confused than ever. I will be contacting the DWP on Monday but Any advice or information will be helpful.

    -Regards

Could be a typo. Payment would be from 10 December 2018.
