    Earning While On Esa

    Hi all

    Few questions for you.

Is it possible to work while on ESA support group? And if so how much is the limit on what you can earn per week?

    Cheers.

You can do permitted work if it's approved by DWP but there's a limit on hours nd earnings: up to £131.50 a week and less than 16 hours a week.

Fill in and send them a form PW1, you can download one here:
    https://www.gov.uk/government/public...tted-work-form

You don't actually need their permission before doing 'Permitted Work' but it's as well to tell them what you are doing, or intending to do, so that they can make sure you are within the rules for hours and earnings.
(It also covers you if some busybody reports you for working and claiming benefits).

I've done PW a few times in the past and never had a problem.
I don't know everything. - But I'm good at searching for, and finding, stuff.
