Remember the 'Myth Busting' Universal Credit adverts the DWP paid for in the Metro/MailOnline?

They have now been ruled “misleading”, “unsubstantiated” and “exaggerated” - and have been banned by the Advertising Standards Authority:

You might ask - "So what? they've already been published."

But the ASA ruling goes further and states that in future the DWP must have:
adequate evidence to substantiate the claims in their advertising, to include significant conditions [where the claims don’t apply], and to present significant conditions clearly.
The DWP have stated that they are "Dissapointed by the decision".
