That streetview is from 2011, about six months after it was last open. It's been closed and (deliberately) neglected since July 2010.

    Whichcraft is an intetesting one.
It's (was) a one room shop on a different freehold to the other buildings.
And the Freeholder would never sell that freehold despite generous offers over the years.
They weren't happy when they had to move out because demolition was scheduled and as far as I'm aware still have the freehold for that small footprint. (Which may be interesting for any redevelopment).

I guess though that it's the name that intrigues you.
When I first lived in the Lion it was a taxi office, which only later became 'Whichcraft' - a wool/knitting/sewing supplies shop. ( No 't' in Whichcraft).
The mayor of the town attended the opening of the woolshop in full regalia, which may explain something about the owner of the freehold).

Here' an article with some demolition photos:

Ha ha I thought it might be a craft shop, 2011 that image that's a bit behind I thought they mapped regular every couple of years. Where I am they do because it's more like Lego land turn around and a building has gone and a new estate put up. I think everything I knew as a kid has been flattened. Sad really but I think I grew up in the best era, I would hate to be young today.

I just noticed that my phones autocorrect changed it to put the 't' in there.

    I've taken it out again.

Lol I think between Google, Echo and Alexa they sound alike and get a lot wrong but predictive text is something special. It needs Spellchecker and sentences monitoring.
