It appears people are confusing disability equality and disability hate crimes.

Are you saying that the Governments comments on people claiming sickness benefit and the changes they have made to the system have had no connection to the rise in hate crime?
The BNP are very clever with their wording but we all know what they are saying in reality.
Where did I say that? I don't take any notice of what the BNP state. The original post by Force Majeure was completely true and accurate apart from the reference to the DDA (which has nothing to do with this). Disability inequality and hate aren't the same.

Disability Hate Crime is on the increase - but I have never said it isn't. All i'm disputing is the link between disability equality and hate.

Not sure why you have not deleted this post as the others, or why you feel you had to delete them any way.
You have been a long time member here and given so much good advice in that time and no one is questioning your integrity.
I can only speak from my experience which is that equality comes in many forms, which includes being treated with respect, not vilified by Politicians.
You situation and mine are very different, hence the occasional difference of opinion. Certainly nothing personal.

    Thanks FM,
I too am amazed at the terminology this Goverment uses about people on benefits due to health problems, it's plain bigotry and the fact that they are getting away with it is beyond comprehension
