    kitchen refit

After much moving of goalposts I have another date for my kitchen refit.
They are coming to rip everything out next monday.
I cannot pack gradually as I should have liked as I have houseguests arriving Thursday ,staying till Sunday.
I am both looking forward to it, and dreading it at the same time.
If the teen allows me as much unfettered internet access as he has been, I shall bore you all to death with updates

Yes please do "bore" us lol. Only joking. I'm interested and I'm sure others are too

I really don't envy you in having workmen in etc. will your guests help you go pack everything up ?

I've just finished having new carpets, the place painted, new furniture, new taps in the bathroom and that was bad enough, although it doesn't help having an indoor cat that hates strangers, especially men !

Keep us upto date - wishing you well x

Hi deebee - good luck with your new kitchen. I decided to go for the minimal look and just get takeaways.

    Taps all round then Dave

I need to get a new mixer one for the kitchen. I just wish I had decided to get a new one along with the bathroom to save me another call-out fee by the plumber. Still, he is very good

    Enjoy your taps

We recently had out kitchen re-fitted...

Was a nightmare. I had to stay with my boyfriend for 2 weeks because I have a dust allergy. I had an asthma attack as soon as I walked into the kitchen >.<

doubt guests will help, its my bf, he,s usually helpfull, but he is bringing his 6 year old daughter for her annual trip to London so she will want outings,we shall also have one of my grandchildren staying to keep her company.
having the full works, boiler, units, tiles, floor , paint, the lot.
Didnt even think about cat, how mean of me, she does go out but only garden, timid puss, scared of any visitors except my eldest son,s daughter, and the young girl next door who pops in to feed her for me on my Cheshire weekends.
She only just tolerates me.lol, but the teen she worships!

Could she go into the teens bedroom for a few days ?

I put mine away where it was quiet, cool and calm with her food, water and litter tray. I get so worked up and stressed worrying about her ! Can you tell I don't have children, she is my baby lol

She gets mackerel in tomato sauce or tuna for her supper, although she's on a special diabetic diet now so it's had to be vastly reduced
