    Football Extravaganza

Exhausted after just 4 days of football. Good games, lots of goals. only 28 more days to go.

This has been, so far, the best world cup for a generation on the field. Plenty of goals, excitement and drama and lots of attacking football too and good crowds. The demonstrations will continue and if Brazil play Spain the last 16 and lose then the mood may well sour. The games are all on at decent times too. Unlike Russia 2018 and Qatar 2022 with early kick offs (if they go ahead).

Sunday July 13th. Just 27 more days to go. There are a few "rest" days.

I'm not mega into football either - though it'd be great for our country to actually get somewhere in this tournament.

I'm loving the world cup after a disappointing domestic season for Man United, and of course, my local team, Nottingham Forest...

Forest are members of a select club. European champions. Spain and Australia out in the 1st week.
